Least Favorite Polish for #NAILlinkup !!!!

Tonight's the night for the next #Naillinkup post - The Least Favorite Polish. It was quite a challenge to find the right polish among all my babies. Every single bottle of polish in my collection has its beauty or at least emotional value for me. How can I even think about calling someone least favorite? It's felt like a betrayal .... Don't get me wrong, my lovely bottles, I really love all of you but as one almost normal human being I do have my very few all time favorites. So I really had to sacrifice one of you, my precious ones, for today's mani.

Mess it up with China Glaze and Golden Rose !!!!

Hello, my lovelies ....

I have a really quick post for you today. Just woke up and my coffee is still hot so here are my few minutes to talk with you. Anyone else around to say 'Good morning'?

What we have here .... Behind all the nail art I have my plain polished days off and on. It's great to enjoy a certain color in its own beauty without any extras. But .... The nice beautiful clear look needs more skills in applying because with no nail art around you'll be able to see every single scratch and uneven spot on nail's surface. That's what have happened this time .... My hands were too shaky so my nails got too messy red/white coats. Well, to make the mess a real one I've took my acrylics and a piece of saran-wrap and start playing. Honestly - I'm pleased with the result. Hope youll like it too, lovelies ....

Months ago I've started subscribing one of my favorite nail art bloggers Jemma aka Eeeek!Nail Polish! Once a month there was a Nail Art Ideas Linkup email and my nail art soul was thrilled to enter at least once. Finally I'm on my way to the #NAILlinkup Series. I'm so excited!! Draft Series:Where's My Dreamcatcher !!!!

Hello, my lovelies ....

It's Draft Series' time again. I really have to clear this draft box or too much good ideas would go to nowhere. And what better way to shake a bit this cold weather outside than having some shots from the beloved summer? Yep, I've made this mani back in the hot summer days - you can see what a healthy sun-kissed color my skin has. I love summer. My hands love summer. My nails do too. 

It's cold outside but I still can dream for a while .... I even have a dreamcatcher.

The Nudes are Dipped in Silver with Essence !!!!

Hello, my lovelies ....

Back in the non-polish-addicted days when there were just a bunch bottles of polish on the shelf .... I was a huge fan of all dark shades and ain't got no nude ones around. But than the obsession has started. I've noticed there are so many marvellous colors closed in little bottles .... And I've wanted them all. In the last few months I'm searching for my perfect nude and it's tough. To find a nude polish for my yellow-ish skin tone is not that easy. When I've heard about Essence's new limited editions - I Love Nudes - I was thrilled. Maybe, just maybe The One is coming. So now it's nude time! The Nudes have finally arrived! 

It wasn't easy to pick just two of them. To be honest I'm thinking about geeting back at the store for the rest of the collection. 

Let me introduce you to 'I'm Lost In You' and 'Pure Soul'.

I'm Lost In You - smooth creme finish, light terracotta shade, perfect for a bit warmer skin tones, great application, acceptable drying time, two coats. Really, really close to the perfection.

Pure Soul - light pink-ish ivory, very delicate and feminine, perfect for a french type mani, a bit tricky application but still buildable for such a light shade, stunning pink subtle shimmer visible mostly in the bottle, a great base for nail art, three thin coats. Pure treasure for my collection.

After all I'm still searching. But I'm sure Mr.Perfect-Nude is a bit closer than before. 
I've wore the Nudes for a day in their pure clear gorgeousness and then I've decided to play a bit with my stamping plates.The silver metalic ending of today's mani is A-England Excalibur. Hope you like it, my lovelies .... I just love it.

Coffee shades with SNB !!!!

Hello, my lovelies...

As most of the people on this planet I love drinking coffee - strong and black, no cream, no sugar. Black. Well, it I know can't be really black but you know what I'm talking about. It's about the specific deep seductive brown color only coffee has. And guess what - while  ago I've found it .... or He found me. I'm saying 'He' cause my coffee colored polish has a male name. We've found each other at Star Nails Bulgaria. Love at first sight, what else can I say? He is Petar - deep, smooth and strong like hot, black coffee /you can almost feel the taste in your mouth/. And  he's so handsome  I just couldn't resist the need to take him home with me ....

But that's not all. At all .... Then I've found something different, something mysterious and new .... I've found the need of trying things different. I've found the need to even try a different type of coffee - I've wanted it lighter, milder even delicate. Why so? I've found Kamen.

Both the guys are marvelous - great behavior on nails, fast dry reactions, impressive presence. And what a single lady sould have / or not / to do with those two men? She can try to play with them ....Or not. Or she can just enjoy her cup of coffee in their amazing company.

I've needed to make the mani more tender. I've wanted more softened look. The matte finish did it more than perfect.

P.S. This wasn't my first attempt with Petar and Kamen and the coffee theme. A month ago we've had our very first cup of coffee. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take my pictures at the right time. The three awful shots bellow were made at the 5th day of wearing the first 'Coffee Shades' mani. I've made them in the middle of one terrible working day and it's obvious in what desperate need of better care my hands were at this moment. It's easy to make the difference.

In the last post I've told you about my Valentine's problem - my lack of inspiration. Again. Head - empty. Ideas - missing. I've been looking for something to evoke my mind and .... nothing. Not even a single thought. So I've decided - couple of colors, couple of paints, few brushes, a stamping plate and it cames. The idea - no. Just the image. It cames naturally. Like love does. Sometimes love comes surprisingly. If you stop looking so damn hard you'll find it. Or at least it will find You. Everything should comes naturally.

 And here is a really easy and simple idea for Valentine's last minute mani - nude, pink and magenta. It's up to you to choose your base color. Than it takes a few minutes to make some brush strokes for more eye-catching look. Mr.Seche Vite will do the rest.

Today I have just a few words to tell you and a couple of photos to show you. It's Valentine's Day coming and our nail world is mad and crazy about creating tons of hearts - cupids - flowers like designs. So it isn't strange I'm totally out of ideas lately. There are no 'love is the air' thoughts in my head .... So here is my sooo simple almost Valentine's day themed mani. We'll see what my sick and tired mind will create before Valentine's day .... or will not.

Draft Series:Icecream On My Cupcakes with Kiko !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Snow? Again? Yes, I know it's still February but I think we've had enough cold weather for this season. This black and white outside is not that inspiring any more. Well, maybe the temperature outside can do something about the lack of inspiration. Just maybe...

I was looking outside the window, thinking about some snowy monochromatic landscape in black-grey-white on my nails  or just an abstract pattern in the same color combo. And nothing. No single mark of idea in my head. So sad. I even thought about simple  glossy white with some meatlic accent. No. My soul was begging me for more. If you, poor red reptile, can't creative something sweet and interesting at the moment please go and check what's left in the drafts. Ok, my soul. Listen and obey.

Look what I've found in the draft box - my pick from the sweet and lovely Kiko's Cupcakes. When I got these babies in my hands the first thought was - icecream. Big, rich, creamy icecream.

So, come on, my lovelies ... and my soul, feel welcome ... open your fridge, find the icecream, grab a spoon and enjoy the Cupcakes.
