Meet Manhattan:Purple Rain !!!!

I'm so excited!!! Forgive the big amount of photos in this post but I just LOVE how they turn out. Hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do. Now let's see what we have today .... Where is your umbrella? Purple rain is coming ....

Manhattan Collection Purple Rain - dark, seductive purple gorgeousness closed in just 7ml bottle of polish. You can see the extreme fine silver dust dancing in the bottle right? It gives the color unique depth and richness. I was almost sure Prince will jump out of the bottle when I open it.

The color is more on the wintery side of my palette but the vampy look it gives to my nails is so irresistible. Purple rain's formula is great - smooth, opaque and very easy to work with. Drying time is amazing - you need to work fast with the brush. I've put topcoat just because I always do. Well, maybe some more glossiness is always better. All the photos show two coats with a topcoat.

I've played a bit with some water and alcohol to create the marbled effect. It's always such a fun to make the well known water-marble mess. Manhattan polishes give a whole universe of possibilities for matching colors and finishes.

Meet Manhattan:Summer Tunes and Pink Opening !!!!

Hello, my lovelies ....

Still winter here. Still cold and snowy. Still thinking where is the spring? Why she's not here already?

In the past dull and freezing days I've found I feel better if I wear more bright and light colors. My mind is a very bizzare place I know....

So here are the newest citizens of my polish rack - Pink Opening and Summer Tunes from the latest Manhattan Collection.

Pink Opening - very very bright almost neon shade of pinky-sh coral. Suits great to all skin tones. You can find a hint of orange in it but it just makes the color more vibrant. Nothing special as a shade but me like it a lot.

Summer Tunes - great shade for teal/blue/green lovers. Extremely creamy polish BUT also stains nails extremely intensive. Even my two coats of base didn't help a lot. Sad. Sad. I hate seeing my nails in such a zombie shades when I took of my polish .... On the other hand I really love the color, the application and etc. but this stains just kill me.

No matter all I do enjoy playing with these two Manhattan babies. Both are finding a warm welcomimg on my polish rack and will definitely take part in my future nail art plans.

Meet Manhattan - Aqua Sky and Cafe Beaute - part 1!!!!

Hello,lovelies...

Manhattan hits again with two new collections - 'Community Colors' and 'Manhattan and Playboy Super Nails'.Our friends from Taota company were fast and furious with sending samples of the new lines to the blogger community here in Bulgaria.Another big step closer to know each other better...

Up to the polishes.

Aqua Sky and Cafe Beaute.....

Aqua Sky - part of the Manhattan and Playboy Super Nails collection,the name gives you all you need to know about this guy here.He has the clear bright look of the summer sky - light but intense teal blue with amazing subtle shimmer in it.He's blue and cold as mountain lake waters - you can even see the dreamy foggy finish on your nails not only in the bottle.When we first met there was no 'wow'...for me.I needed more time to know him better.But than...but than I saw the sky hidden inside this bottle,I saw clouds kissing water surface....Just kiddin',guys...I put a base coat and the two coats of Aqua Sky and that was more than enough for me feeling satisfied. 

Great brush-big and flat,awesome coverage,pretty good drying time,'me' color....almost,final thoughts - me like it.

Cafe Beaute - one of the Community Colors,collection inspired by bloggers like us.Definitely not my type of finish.Definitely my type of color shade.What can I say?Great nude shade with a bit of bronze it it which looks marvellous next to his aqua teal brother but...that's all.Sorry,Manhattan,I just don't feel this one as close as the other.To make the surface smooth and even wasn'r easy at all - too much brush marks,strokes and etc.

It was a delightful pleasure to create the right design for these guys.Seeing them next to each other make the picture as clear as possible.Also the names were very inspiring so  here I am,lovelies....
