Djeep Series vol.13 !!!!

Happy Monday!

It's been a while since the last mani inspired by one of my Djeep lighters. The claws feel great when they are dressed in a suitable for the lighter outfit. It's always a delightful challenge to recreate the lighter pattern on my nails. But the best of all are the few days I can enjoy the Djeep duo.

For vol.13 I have pink to show you. The pink shade I've used for a base is Essence The Gel Nail polish 13 Forgive me. It was just the perfect pink shade with the perfect number for this mani. Lovely coincidence! Enjoy!

#DressMyNails with Cocomelody vol.3 !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

It’s finally time for the next high inspirational and extremely gorgeous post from the #DressMyNails series I’ve been making along with Cocomelody. We have beach wedding dresses coming on the way, my lovelies! Just close your eyes and imagine the warm white sand under your toes and the tender ocean breeze gentle whispering in your ears…. Probably if I was at least a little bit into perfect dreaming wedding I will be dreaming for a beach themed one.  I’ve been searching for a light extra feminine look for this mani. I won’t lie – it was hard to pick the polishes because I’m just too into dark shades in that moment. But I’m satisfied with the end result. After all I’ve had an amazing inspiration.    Hello, my lovelies....

   Sunny days are over.... at least for this week. It's raining outside. It's raining and it probably will keep it that way the next couple of days. It's sad. Really sad to see the end of the summer. 

   That's the reason for today's mani. I'm starting to look accross the dark shades in my collection which were a bit ignored lately. It's been a while since I've painted roses on my nails and the base here looked like a great opportunity for a comeback. 

   The good creme finish always throws me into a great dilemma. Should I leave it clear just to enjoy the smoothness or should I add some decoration to make it pop out? Such a difficult decision to be made....

School time with A-England and L'Oreal !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

There are less than 2 weeks until my daughter’s first day in 4th grade and all the thrills are ready to explode. Wondering what to put on my nails at that special day I surprisingly found the photos of the mani I’ve made last year for the same occasion. Yeah, I know…. One year later is a bit longer even for me but what can I do – the folder probably had been ‘lost in the script’.

As you can see on the photos the mani is mostly in yellow and green – these were the colors of the uniforms in her school last year. As a good mom I’ve wanted to make her happy with dressing myself in the same colors and of course with a mani in the same theme.

This year the pupils will be dresses in deep blue with accents in bright orange and pastel yellow – a better color combo for sure. So when the time comes I’ll show you how your Red Frog, a proud mom of a 4^th grade girl manage with that palette on her nails. Now let’s see the photos.

 It’s not one of my best presentation but the kid was enough happy with it. To be honest I did like it too because the colors were not the typical for me. Let’s hope to do it much better this September.

Pink roses !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

#OMD3 has ended. The few manis I’ve made for the challenge turned out quite good no matter the broken nail and all the work that sucked all my powers lately. No worries – your Red Frog will recharge very soon. I’m thinking of a little vacation…. Few days away from the office, away from the big city, away from the hectic daily routine. Fingers crossed, lovelies….

So, today I have a pink mani to show you. Pink and roses. Simple yet catchy. Girly and gentle. The base color is L’Oreal Gourmandise and the accent nail is painted with Renaissance Custom Lacquer L'Eete. Both these babies are just amazing. Both have really good coverage, nice pigmentation and pretty good drying time. Two words only - pink perfection! I've made this mani for one of the #OMD3 days but it didn't turn out as I wanted. But that's another story.

#OMD3 - Day Twenty three - Flames !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's hot. It's really, really hot. My time of the year.

#OMD3 is pretty close to its end and I feel a bit sad about it. It's a great fun to be part of such an event and the best of all - every single day of July has its own theme so there's no place for wondering and seaching for inspiration. I just wish I've had more spare time to be able to recreate all the themes on my nails... Maybe next time.

So, today we have Flames around. I'm really satisfied how my flames turn out. And I'm even more satisfied how easy was to make draw them.

#OMD3 - Day Twenty - Jewels !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

This weekend was so short. The relaxing part - well, I've missed it. Why so? The princess is on vacation with my parents and that seems to be the perfect moment for a little make over of her room. But that's another story. The thing is I feel more tired this morning than I was at the end of the week. But I feel proud of myself and will be even more when everything in her room is ready. 

Back to the nails.

Djeep Series vol.12 !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Sunday. The weekend is over. The work week is knocking on the door. It's time to choose what I want to see on my nails at Monday morning. Last week was awful. Non of the mani I've made was enough satisfying. Standing in front of my polish rack wasn't in spiring at all. The fact is I just couldn't make a simple decision about the color combos and the nail art design at all. That's why all of my manis didn't became as they were ment to be. 

The worst of all - I've broke a nail on Friday. Few days before OMD3's start one soldier is down. But the rest of the army is strong enough to face the challenge.

But enough complaining. Let's see the next #DjeepSeries mani.
