Dressed in Black !!!!

If you have read my last post maybe you remember what I've told you about my B-day mani. The claws were dressed in black with a touch of gold for more dramatic look. I've been wearing this mani for almost 5 days which is more than longer for me. Most of the time I feel the need to repaint my nails the day after I've made the design but not this time, no.

Thorns and roses on Flormar Full Color Grass Juice !!!!

  Hello, my lovelies....

  While ago I've made my first attempt in DIY stamped decals - the post with them is here. Because of the mistake I've made with that first decal it was a matter of time for me to make a new one. What was my mistake? I've placed the decal in the wrong direction - the back side was the visible one - and of course I've noticed that after putting all the generous coats of Seche Vite to create a smooth surface. No matter all the mani was a nice one so nothing to be sorry for. This time I've decided to make my roses yellow - my favorite among all roses types. Again I've used my BP-L020 for the decal. 

  The base color is from the new Flormar polish line - Full Color FC22 Grass Juice - one of the most interesting lime/or not so lime/ greens in my stash. It's a really nice polish to work with - the creme finish is smooth and even after two coats, the drying time is quite satisfying and the color shade is so beautiful. 

  I've bought this buddy along with few other polishes couple of weeks ago and now I'm sure I'll get some more colors of the Full Color line. One of the other bottles I'd took home with Grass Juice is a strange topper by Perfect brand that looks really interesting in the bottle. I've used it here to complement my thorns. I can only say - there's no such torn in my as$ like this one here. This polish brings the worst out of me with its awful application. But, thanks G there is a But here, but the final result is good.

Black roses on grey gradient !!!!

   Hello, my lovelies....

   Sunny days are over.... at least for this week. It's raining outside. It's raining and it probably will keep it that way the next couple of days. It's sad. Really sad to see the end of the summer. 

   That's the reason for today's mani. I'm starting to look accross the dark shades in my collection which were a bit ignored lately. It's been a while since I've painted roses on my nails and the base here looked like a great opportunity for a comeback. 

   The good creme finish always throws me into a great dilemma. Should I leave it clear just to enjoy the smoothness or should I add some decoration to make it pop out? Such a difficult decision to be made....

Pink roses !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

#OMD3 has ended. The few manis I’ve made for the challenge turned out quite good no matter the broken nail and all the work that sucked all my powers lately. No worries – your Red Frog will recharge very soon. I’m thinking of a little vacation…. Few days away from the office, away from the big city, away from the hectic daily routine. Fingers crossed, lovelies….

So, today I have a pink mani to show you. Pink and roses. Simple yet catchy. Girly and gentle. The base color is L’Oreal Gourmandise and the accent nail is painted with Renaissance Custom Lacquer L'Eete. Both these babies are just amazing. Both have really good coverage, nice pigmentation and pretty good drying time. Two words only - pink perfection! I've made this mani for one of the #OMD3 days but it didn't turn out as I wanted. But that's another story.

Draft Series:Just flowers !!!!

Hello, my lovelies ....

Tonight I wanna show you a mani I've made long long ago. That's a really old one believe me. I'm not really sure if it has its place here - looking at the photos I see only a messy work, short nails and photos too blurry to like them. At least the color palette is good. And because this mani was made sometimes around last spring I thought it would be a nice retrospective of my work.

Hope you'll enjoy it. But don't feel sorry if you don't.

By the way I like the ring finger most. Other two are too chaotic even for my taste.

Draft Series:More Colors for the Roses !!!!

Hello,my lovelies...

Today I want to show you another mani from the recent past, another mani from the draft box. Yes, there are still enough draft post there waiting patiently to get to you.

I've choose this one because of the colors and my need for colors. And this mani is really a perfect answer to my needs, well at least for my visual ones because: 1)these colors are not on my nails at this moment 2)I'm not quite sure when they were on my nails 3)it's so good to see these colors together again 4)the dots make the mani very playful and girly 5)last but not least - there is also glitter along with all the other decoration. Enough reasons to call this mani 'perfect for my visual needs'. I've been really satisfied how the roses came up and definitely will make a re-do with some other colors very soon.

Mix the Spring with Julep Rose !!!!

Good morning,sunshine lovelies....

How was the weekend?Too sleepy for me because of the rain maybe...Too lazy because of the...hm,no reason for the laziness I guess.Last night I've kicked my as** in front of the polish rack and took my 'who's the right one this time' moment.And believe it or not this time it was really a moment...Wow.I just have to look right infront of me and I've saw it.A little lovely bottle stands on the rack for a very long time waiting patiently to see me in the right mood.And the mood is here.I'm here for Julep Rose.

About  the design - I wanted it to be bright,colorful and girly.I wanted to feel the spring in it.These sweet colors made it just right.
