Sleeping geisha - back in the past !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

Tonight I’m going to show you one mani that I wasn’t sure to post it or not when I’ve made it. About the time this mani was made – well, I just don’t remember. It was last year for sure. But that doesn’t matter. I wasn’t sure about posting it because the day I’ve made it there was no time for photos and when I finally was able to shoot those shots the tips were already whitened…. The second reason about my post-or-not dilemma was the design didn’t end as I’ve imagined it. But that’s another story. So after all those blah blah stuff let’s see the photos.

See? Too bad for the blackened tips – the white layer underneath is visible from miles away. At least the water-alcohol marble ended quite interesting no matter it didn’t compliment the sleeping geisha on the other two nails. Looking at those shots I’m more and more in love with my current nail shape. The rounded shape looks uneven at this point. Vive la stilettos!

Neon animal print !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

I have a quick and colorful post for you this evening. Just few photos and words before saying 'Good night'. 

What I have for you - some stamping with Born Pretty Store Qgirl-018, some hand painted animal print and neon accents to make it bright and bold. I put a layer of white creme polish before painting my nails with the neon color to create an even and opaque neon base before the stamping. Then it was a great stamping-painting-sponging-dry brushing mess. But the end result is nice. Me like it. Hope you, my lovelies, do too.

#OMD3 - Day Eighteen - Love !!!!

  Hello, my lovelies....

  It's so hot today... no, no I'm not complaining at all. I like it that way and I will definitely feel better if there was just a little chance to keep these hot summer tempertures for the whole year. I've always knew the best living area for me is somewhere around Bahamas or why not Bali? Or at least Hawaii....

 Yes, the summer is really really trully here. Also is Day 18 of #OMD3 - Love. 

  Sad but true I haven't found not a drop of inspiration with today's theme. No love around? No. There's love all around except on my nails. All my ideas were just a big fat blah. Your Red Frog is not satisfied this time. At least Hedonist was on my nails for the occasion - this was the only thing about the mani that cheer me up.

#OMD3 - Day Fourteen - Fish !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Prepare your hooks - fishes are comin'!

Yes, it's Day 14 of #OMD3 and we have fish theme to inspire us. I was thinking of fish skeletons for quite a while and finally their time has come. I'm a bit tired tonight and my writing skills are on vacation so you, my lovelies, will be kind enough to forgive my quicky post.

Born Pretty Store Nail art Pen !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

     I really don’t know how to start this post. It’s not because I’m not satisfied with the final result. It’s not because I’m going to show you something you haven’t seen before. It’s just because for the first time I felt  disappointed from a nail art product.  Maybe it’s my fault – not enough practice, not enough skills, not enough patience…. I don’t know. It just didn’t work for me.

Born Pretty Store Nailart pen.

      I was really thrilled when I’ve received it . I thought it would be a great fun and probably a piece of cake to decorate my nails with this pen. I followed the instructions – shake, pump, draw – but…. Don’t like buts at all. I hate to see buts here.  But it wasn’t that easy. The liquid was too sheer and looked like a sour milk. The shake and pump exercise was really annoying/sorry/.  At the middle of all the work process the liquid just has stopped. When I shake it again nothing has happened – I wasn’t able to add even a single drop more on my nail. Another shake-pump work out and nothing. Ten minutes rest – nothing. Another try – nothing. Last chance - not me for sure.The pen probably doesn't like me. At all.

So, that’s it – great expectations and big disappointment. Sorry, Born Pretty, you know I’m a great fan of your products but this pen is not one of my favorite ones. I’ll be a good girl and will give one more chance to my nail art pen but not now. We both need a little more time to clear our differences.

Now let’s see the photos.

    As you can see, my lovelies, the final result is quite good. It’s because I’ve finished my rose with my fine brush and some white acrylic paint. All the rest is obvious – some stamping with Born Pretty Store BP-05, a few flat back acrylic pearls – again from the store and some holographic glitter for the thumb so he can feel special too.

If you, my lovelies, have any special tips and tricks for using that kind of nail art pens please let me know. I'm open to all suggestions.

How sunny and bright is the weather outside this morning.... This  is my favorite time of the year. Everything is so fresh and the new beginning is almost visible. Yes, spring is the season for all things new. Your Red Frog is looking around to find new interesting ways to satisfy her inner hunger for nail art.

#NAILlinkup is here today with the next spring theme - Spring Flowers. I'm really pleased with my flowers - an easy and fun design suitable for all nail lenghts. I'm thinking about a re-do in some sunny yellow, orange and bright red colors.... We'll see.

Hello, my lovelies ....

I have a really quick post for you today. Just woke up and my coffee is still hot so here are my few minutes to talk with you. Anyone else around to say 'Good morning'?

What we have here .... Behind all the nail art I have my plain polished days off and on. It's great to enjoy a certain color in its own beauty without any extras. But .... The nice beautiful clear look needs more skills in applying because with no nail art around you'll be able to see every single scratch and uneven spot on nail's surface. That's what have happened this time .... My hands were too shaky so my nails got too messy red/white coats. Well, to make the mess a real one I've took my acrylics and a piece of saran-wrap and start playing. Honestly - I'm pleased with the result. Hope youll like it too, lovelies ....
