Hello, my lovelies....

It's Monday morning and I can still feel the pillow under my head. The weekend is still holding me tight and I definitely won't mind to stay at home for couple more days.... Everything is ready for the new work week - Monday outfit/check, kid's Monday outfit/check, claws' Monday outfit/check.

What we have here - a nice bold color combo with free hand painted decoration. The colors look more fall appropriate but the warm feeling they bring makes them perfect for the freezing cold outside.

Free hand graphic leaves !!!!

    Hello, my lovelies....

  My posting schedule went out of order lately and I hope to be able to put things in order with the new year's begining. Looks like these 24 hours are not enough for my messed up program. Well, it's not the time and the place and you definitely don't have to listen about these things so let's keep on the nails stuff.

 Searching for new interesting ways for nail decoration is one of my favorite activities. I really enjoy trying different techniques and this time a simple office tool cross pass my sight - a black permanent marker. I've choose the most thinnest one I've found on my desk and let my imagination free. Let's see the result -

 Hope you'll forgive me for the awful photos I'm showing you lately. I'm working on the problem and fingers crossed to be able to slve it soon.

   As you can see the marker is pretty good for fine details, irregular forms and  probably if your hands can stand still better than mine it would be great even for straighter lines. The best part is that Mr. Seche Vote doesn't smear the image. I'll give this marker another chance and will try it for more geometric pattern. Stay tuned for the next permanent round...

Good morning to all of you!

Hope you are fine and ready for Friday. My coffee is almost done and I'm ready to start the day full of energy just because I know it's Friday..... Silly me. Tomorrow I'll work again but end of the wek always makes me happy.

So, today I have a decoration inspired by the lovely @ninanailedit - this girl makes some amazing designs and I'm totally addicted to her photos! Be sure to take a look at her IG page. Nina has one of the most unique nail art styles I've ever seen and it's so close to what I love. My attempt is more simple and not even close to her detailed work but I like how it turns.

Sleeping geisha - back in the past !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

Tonight I’m going to show you one mani that I wasn’t sure to post it or not when I’ve made it. About the time this mani was made – well, I just don’t remember. It was last year for sure. But that doesn’t matter. I wasn’t sure about posting it because the day I’ve made it there was no time for photos and when I finally was able to shoot those shots the tips were already whitened…. The second reason about my post-or-not dilemma was the design didn’t end as I’ve imagined it. But that’s another story. So after all those blah blah stuff let’s see the photos.

See? Too bad for the blackened tips – the white layer underneath is visible from miles away. At least the water-alcohol marble ended quite interesting no matter it didn’t compliment the sleeping geisha on the other two nails. Looking at those shots I’m more and more in love with my current nail shape. The rounded shape looks uneven at this point. Vive la stilettos!

Lemonails !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

When life gives you lemons - make yourself some lemonade. Well, if you don't have the time to squeez all thge lemons - do some nail art instead.

This lemon idea was on my mind for quite a while and no matter the summer has ended my lemons are finally where they belong - on the claws. Looks like I'm in some kind of fruity/vegetable inspired period - chilli peppers, lemons and who knows what else. Enjoy the lemonails because it's all about the inspiration.

I'm open for all fruity/vegetable ideas you want to share with me. I have an idea for a really odd nail art series inspired by my favorite foods but fir now it's just an idea. We'll see what will happen.....

Favorite nudes vol.3 - Perfect and Barielle !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….
How are you tonight? Hope I’m finding all of you in a great mood for nude shades because they are coming – the next couple of my favorite nudes. This time I’ll show you two really delicious shades – Perfect Gel Look 526 and Barielle Aura Angora. Cream and caramel - that’s what I’m seeing on my nails. Really smooth and almost tasty look even without any decoration – what do you think?

Let me give you some more info about these sweeties.

Perfect Gel Look 526 – my all time favorite base color for nail art, great application, amazing coverage and pretty good drying time if you decide to let it dry on its own. The shade is close to ivory but more on the creamy side. Yeah, that sounds like an odd describtion.... If I have to use two words only to describe this polish they probably will be 'vanilla ice-cream'.

Barielle Aura Angora – one of the most interesting colors in my collection, warm ocher shade close to caramel with extremely good application and really really well pigmented. Two words - 'toffee candies'.

These nude shades are the most contrast nude duo I've ever put on the claws. Both look nice on my skin  tone without making my hands look pale. Looking at the photos I think these two will make a great water marble team. We'll see....  

Now I'm going to make a major research in my fridge - fingers crossed to find at least a spoon of ice-cream or a single bite of that tasty cake I've bought couple of days ago.... Or I'll have to eat all of my daughter's chocolate.
