Free hand graphic leaves !!!!

    Hello, my lovelies....

  My posting schedule went out of order lately and I hope to be able to put things in order with the new year's begining. Looks like these 24 hours are not enough for my messed up program. Well, it's not the time and the place and you definitely don't have to listen about these things so let's keep on the nails stuff.

 Searching for new interesting ways for nail decoration is one of my favorite activities. I really enjoy trying different techniques and this time a simple office tool cross pass my sight - a black permanent marker. I've choose the most thinnest one I've found on my desk and let my imagination free. Let's see the result -

 Hope you'll forgive me for the awful photos I'm showing you lately. I'm working on the problem and fingers crossed to be able to slve it soon.

   As you can see the marker is pretty good for fine details, irregular forms and  probably if your hands can stand still better than mine it would be great even for straighter lines. The best part is that Mr. Seche Vote doesn't smear the image. I'll give this marker another chance and will try it for more geometric pattern. Stay tuned for the next permanent round...

Decal accent and some red perfection !!!!

It's Monday, couple of hours before the new working week to start and probably the perfect time to add some color to the early morning palette.

What we have today?

Japanese opera actress surrounded by classic red creme and some abstract patterns over yellow.

 A nice close up to see the awesome details of the decal - the gorgeous accessories of the japanese opera actress are a little piece of art.... I can even see her make up in details.... Just amazing.

S-he 121/303 - one of the most interesting yellow shades I've seen lately, the blue decoration gives more green-ish tone and the red one makes it warm and sunny. This baby looks like light spicy mustard in the bottle....

Catrice Fall 2013 L’Afrique C’est Chic Collection.

One of the few really interesting collections I've seen in the past few years. I really don't know why but we've found each other just now. Probably because the variety of shades and finishes is too big.... pretty sure that's not the real reason.... or just because I've been a bit negligent about what's new. So, three years after the official release the claws finally have the pleasure to wear two of the L’Afrique C’est Chic shades - So Classy and Sunny Side.

Kung-Fu Where? or Face The Panda !!!!

What I'm thinking lately? 

I need more colors.

I've look around myself and figured out there's too much of my beloved grey and its mates. I love my grey tones. And I really love all the other dark foggy shades but it's definitely time for something bright and even childish.It's not just about the colors. It's about the whole effect of the nail art. I've need something to make me smile, to make you smile. Even for a moment.

So after the bright sunny yellow skull from the previous post today I have something funny for you - my Kung-Fu Panda. This character has the most inspirational funny faces in the whole cartoon universe. And without any further talking let's see him. Let's face the Panda without the Kung-Fu!

 I took a shot of my left hand - no special nail art but I'm pretty satisfied with it. The sponged colors came out very vibrant and sunny. I like how easy was to make the clear tomato red nail an accent. OPI's Red my fortune cookie made the mani as playful as it is on my right hand even without any cartoons on the nails.

Draft Series:Skull Time with Golden Rose !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

I'm obsessed with skulls.

Really I've found it long ago but seems like it's time to admit it. There's no special reason for this obsession. No one knows when it started and I don't believe it will ends soon. But don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining. No, not at all. Skulls always give me a great variaty of ideas when it comes to nail art. It's more than easy to use skulls when there's no other idea around. And they always look so  ... me.

As you can see from the photos I've made this mani few months ago /there's too much green around my hands/.Also my nails are sooo rounded.Too rounded for my current taste.But that's another story.The base color is Golden rose Rich Color 48 - bright sunny yellow with the most subttle shimmer in the world.Really, the gorgeous shimmer can be seen only in the bottle and Only if you know it's really there. But the color is awesome. As awesome is the coverage.For this mani I've used two normal coats - neither thin nor thick. The decoration is mostly with acrylics. Only my point finger has a coat of L'Oreal Confettis to compliment all the others.

Green to go with Essence The Green And The Grunge!!!!

You know you're lovely right?I'll keep on tellin' you how lovely you are in every single post I'll do from now on....Why so?Cause you all are lovely great awesome wonderful magnificient and ... I love you.

Who loves green?Me like it.A lot.All shades of it.Dark,light,smoked,bright,sparkling,matte....All greens.And because I just can't resist to a new green polish for my collection - here we go - Essence 159 Color&go The Green And The Grunge.Essence have signed this gorgeous bottle of green polish 'Color of the year' so how not to get this little treasure home with me?No way.You Mr.Green are mine.

A little info about my green - 

opacity - 10 of 10 - two coats are more than enough

brush - big flat and ultra comfortable - 9 of 10....one point down cause it's a bit bigger than I like it

drying time - 7 of 10 

finish - 9 of 10 - enough glossy but there's no one as glossy as Seche....

color shade - perfect fresh grass green

What we have today?

Graphic traffic - abstract design with acrylic paints in black,white and grey with some color accents,very simple and easy to be done design.

What you need to do it?

Fine brush and acrylic paints...And of course - imagination.Tons of imagination.

It's always a great fun to take the brush and just let it move on your nails.It's like a 'calm down' therapy for my 'always make a plan' mind.No schemes,no pre-drawings,nothing.Just me,my acrylics,my brush and my nails.

Doll's Dots with Pool Side Party by P2 !!!!

Good morning,lovelies...

I'm extremely happy to show you today's mani!!Why so?Take a seat,take your cup of coffee and let's see why....

Few weeks ago I took part in a nail art contest hosted by Beauty Expression by Luchessa and Polish Alcoholic - ladies,you are awesome!!!!The theme was named after the latest limited edition collection by P2 - Pool Side Party.

What was my surprise when I found I've won....You just can't imagine how happy was your Red frog.And a couple of weeks later these lovelies came home....Luchessa,you are a sweetheart!!!

These babies are fresh like a cold cocktail and bright as sunlight.They just scream 'SUMMER!!!'.All five have themed names - from left to right - 010 blue lagoon,020 turquoise sky,030 violet summerdream,040 sunshine yellow and 050 new wave.Really gorgeous!!

Some facts about these five beauties - 

Shades - as you can see - stunning!!!

Coverage - really good pigmentation..only the yellow one needs more attention and careful applying - two coats all except the Sunshine

Drying time - pretty good I think...but cool them for a minute before use cause the hot weather makes them a bit sticky

Final thoughts - I'm impressed how much I love them all!
