Graphic nail art with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Sunday evening in such a cloudy rainy day seams like the perfect time to share some nail art with you. I've posted this design few days ago at Instagram so it's definitely time to share some details about it.

Alice from Born Pretty Store has sent me a extremely cool stamping plate with geometric ornaments along with the products I've shown you lately - BP-L054. It has 20 different images in various sizes which allows you to create a lot of nail art designs. The plate is part of Born Pretty Store line of rectangular plates - click, click.

The geometric pattern over the semi-transparent black is just stunning. I've put few drops of black polish into a bottle of regular clear polish and here we go - nice glossy transparent jelly black. Three coats were enough to build the look I was looking for.

Just look at these amazing ornaments on the plate - I definitely need to get few more stamping polishes and to start practicing.

I'm really happy how the smooshy pattern is contrasting with the geometric one. Even the smudged lines of the images don't bother me at all. They really fits perfect to the final look. I'll definitely try some other designs with this plate really soon and share it with you. So till then enjoy the photos and take your time at the store - tons of creative items are available for the times when you find your inspiration.

Panda nails with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Panda time! One of the newest stamping plates from Born Pretty Store - BPX-LO15 - is in my hands and the fun can begin. Alice from BPS was kind as always and offered me to try both the panda plate and the cute bunny stamper. What a lovely couple! The kid inside me feels fantastic.

I've made my own decals using the transfer technique because the pandas need white tummies to look as cute as possible. The plate is full with different panda images in different shapes and sizes to suit to all nail lenghts and shapes.

This little bunny makes stamping easy and fun. The images from the stamping plate transfered really good no matter it's not a sticky stamper. The silicone is pretty soft and is perfect for curved nails like mine.

I'm really happy how this design turned out. I've wanted something fresh and bright to make those little buddies really pop up. I realise the need of new black stamping polish as I'm looking at the photos but next time I'll be better. After all there are so many new beautiful stamping plates at the store - Born Pretty Stamping Nail section is the place I need.

#WhenColoursCollide vol.14 - black, white and neon pink !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Friday and the working week is almost at its end. The last few days were fantastic - sunny, warm and full of laughter. I hope it's because of the upcoming spring.... Life just has to start being better. The latest group collage with all the gorgeous designs in black, white and neon pink for the last #whencolourscollide prompt has been posted on Monday. I'm a bit late with sharing my solo shot but better late than never  - 

What we have here - the cute little squares are Born Pretty Store water decals that were smudged a bit from the top coat but the effect is not that bad at all. Pinkie and ring finger are covered with diy decals I've made using the dry marble technique. The color combo is one of my most favorite and will definitely be here again soon.

Peel Off base and a textured decoration with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Friday and I'm ready to start the weekend. Week tasks' finished. Work's done. I'm ready to spend my free time outside enjoying the first warm sunny days for this year. It really looks like the spring is coming. So let's go straight to the claws' business before the fantastic sun goes down-  

No matter how much I enjoy wearing this mani it was extremely exiting to remove it. The reason? I've used peel off base coat by Born Pretty Store. It's clear luminous liquid with almost no smell which dries pretty fast after the application. I've put two coats of it but probably it's better to stay with one. Than I've polished the claws as always - two coats each and add a coat of gel top to my ring finger because of the little studs I've wanted to stick on the decal.

Well, it wasn't the easiest way to clean the claws but I definitely prefer to peel off the rough textured Golden rose Galaxy than trying to clean it with regular nail polish remover. And to be honest it was a great fun to see how the thick layer of polish cracks when I peel it off my nail.... The skull decoration fall off extremely easy no matter it was covered with gel top coat. #DressMyNails with StyleWe vol.11 !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

December comes with a mix of really cold weather and some  bright sunny days here in Sofia. There was even a snow outside... well, quite a bit and just for a couple of days indeed but still snow.  In time like this the only thing I dream about is a fluffy, cosy sweater to keep me warm and comfortable through the working day. That's the reason for the next #dressmynails dedicated nail design. Inspiration came quick because of the fantastic knitted sweaters I saw at a wonderful online store.

I've always been a color red loving type but when it comes to green ... well, I haven't got the power to resist. Judge me if you dare:) But before that just take a look at these fantastic sweaters here -

#WhenColorsCollide vol.7 !!!!

#WhenColorsCollide next group collage is live on IG since Monday and it's definitely time for me to share with you my entry for the latest theme - black, white and yellow.

I was thinking about something completely different for this theme but things went into a very shaky direction.... Sometimes my hands just don't want to listen no matter what I think about it. It's called essential tremor and it's definitely not nail art best friend.

I've started with some chevrons and wanted to continue with some geometric pattern but it wasn't the right time and the right place. At all. There was nothing straight in the straight lines I've made and for the first time I just gave up. For the first time I let the tremor wins. One battle is lost but the war is not over.

Black&White Skulls !!!!

 Hello, my lovelies....

Halloween is almost here and all nails around are decorated with pumpkins, bats, ghosts, spiders and skulls of course. The palette is colorful and spooky - all shades of purple, orange, green and black with accents of white or else are definitely the perfect choice you can make. 

This time I've decided to give a chance to my daughter and let her choose the colors and the decoration for the claws. Her choice was a design with black, white, skulls and matte finish. So, here we are -  me and the claws dressed as how little Miss Precious has ordered.

Back in the summer: Neon stripes and deep white french !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Fall is here.

I know. It's here with all the gorgeous colors - copper red, golden yellow, muted green, burgundy and so on. Yes. But fall comes with all the rainy days to get up early without any chance to stay in bad... It comes with all the windy evenings when home looks miles away from the office. I don't like this time of the year a lot. I'm not even close to like it a bit. I like summer. I love summer. 

That's why I'll do some summer themed designs from time to time. Just to feel a bit more summer-y for a moment. This time I have a deep french in pure white with few neon stripes to spice it up. I'm pretty obsessed with this negative space look.... I've made the stripes using few neon shades and the drag marble technique on a piece of plastic bag and when the neon marble  was completely dry I just cut it into stripes. Then I gently press them over the nail plate and seal them with Mr.Seche Vite. Easy.
