Steampunk fighter with BornprettyStore!!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Here I am again after this long break I've made.... What can I say? Probably it's been a needed break or else. I've posted this design while ago at my IG account and it's the perfect time to say some more about it. The star of this design is a fantastic stamping plate I've received couple of months ago.

I have always been a great fan of steampunk themed designs. When I saw BPX L023 at the store the hungry monster deep inside has been awaken. The need to try new interesting nail  art products was still alive somewhere there. And when Alice from Born Pretty Store offered me to give it a try I just couldn't resist.

The plate has full pack of bold steampunk patterns  with crisp lines and magnificient details. To transfer the image on the nails was easy even for a newbie as myself. I would definitely keep working over my stamping skill because plates like this really deserve to be used more often...

Well, at least that's the way this post was supposed to get started while ago.... Unfortunately I've been in a great rush at work and my blogger's life went straight at the end of my schedule. Probably it's normal to work hard and not to have enough time for your passions but I'm still trying to get used to it. The claws are really neglected but still polished. I'm doing my best in both worlds so fingers crossed....

Brushed metal effect or Pulse of purism !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

How are you today? I'm feeling a bit exhausted because of all the new tasks I'm working on.... It's both exciting and scary to jump higher than you think it's possible... Just hope I won't fall down.

Few days ago I've shared with you one of the designs I've made when the claws were in coffin shape. The star of this design is the brushed metal effect in white gold shade that looks so extremely gorgeous in person... Photos just can't represent the effect as good as I want them to. But  it still look fantastic.

Catrice rock it again! I'm in love with this effect and have some interesting ideas about it. Soon.

Graphic nail art with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Sunday evening in such a cloudy rainy day seams like the perfect time to share some nail art with you. I've posted this design few days ago at Instagram so it's definitely time to share some details about it.

Alice from Born Pretty Store has sent me a extremely cool stamping plate with geometric ornaments along with the products I've shown you lately - BP-L054. It has 20 different images in various sizes which allows you to create a lot of nail art designs. The plate is part of Born Pretty Store line of rectangular plates - click, click.

The geometric pattern over the semi-transparent black is just stunning. I've put few drops of black polish into a bottle of regular clear polish and here we go - nice glossy transparent jelly black. Three coats were enough to build the look I was looking for.

Just look at these amazing ornaments on the plate - I definitely need to get few more stamping polishes and to start practicing.

I'm really happy how the smooshy pattern is contrasting with the geometric one. Even the smudged lines of the images don't bother me at all. They really fits perfect to the final look. I'll definitely try some other designs with this plate really soon and share it with you. Panda nails with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Panda time! One of the newest stamping plates from Born Pretty Store - BPX-LO15 - is in my hands and the fun can begin. Alice from BPS was kind as always and offered me to try both the panda plate and the cute bunny stamper. What a lovely couple! The kid inside me feels fantastic.

I've made my own decals using the transfer technique because the pandas need white tummies to look as cute as possible. The plate is full with different panda images in different shapes and sizes to suit to all nail lenghts and shapes.

This little bunny makes stamping easy and fun. The images from the stamping plate transfered really good no matter it's not a sticky stamper. The silicone is pretty soft and is perfect for curved nails like mine.

I'm really happy how this design turned out. I've wanted something fresh and bright to make those little buddies really pop up. I realise the need of new black stamping polish as I'm looking at the photos but next time I'll be better. After all there are so many new beautiful stamping plates at the store - Born Pretty Stamping Nail section is the place I need.

#WhenColoursCollide vol.11 !!!!

The first #WhenColoursCollide group collage for this year is live since Sunday and it's definitely time to show you my solo shot. This time we've had to use only violet and lavender - nothing more, nothing less. I've had a bit different idea about how this design should look but at the end it was all about free hand drawing....

Hope you enjoy the photos... Something is going completely wrong with my camera lately but I'm working on the problem. I'm also trying to put my skin condition in order because at this moment it's just horrible.... So, 2017 - I'm coming with tons of tasks in my schedule so beware!

Christmas stamper and Snowflakes all the way with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Few hours left until the end of the year and here I am with the last post for 2016. Here in Gabrovo - my home town - we have lots of snow. It's like a true winter fairy tale and when my family is here with me... well, that's the true Christmas magic and it feels so good.

For this post I've choose one of my favorite themes for this season - snowflakes, lots of snowflakes. 

To create this look I've used my new fantastic Christmas stamper from Born Pretty Store and one of their newest stamping plates - BP-L032. The base colors are dark, vampy shades of red and violet with a bit of glitter sparkle.

The stamper is perfect for long nails like mine. Making a full nail  stamp is like a game if you just have enough patience and practice. The holder is decorated with cute Christmas pattern that makes the starry silicone head look even more magical.

Vintage chrome nail decoration !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Seems like playing with my chrome pigments is one of my favorite activities lately. No matter the lack of success I just keep on trying and praying for the sacred moment when I will see a flawless chrome mirror finish on the claws. The process itself is such a mess but it also fascinates me a lot and makes me want to achieve perfection. Well, I completely understand there's n such thing as perfection when I'm around but why not to think big?

Mandala stamping with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Born Pretty Store has released some awesome stamping plates lately and happy to be able to show you one of them - BP-X15. It's always a great pleasure to test new products and especially when they are stamping related. I'm in some kind of 'do-your-own-stamping-decals' period and this plate brings the best of my ideas on the surface.

The image is extremely clean with well defined edges and gives great variety of possibilities for creating your own decals. It's part of the BP-X series of rectangle plates by Born Pretty and can by ordered by its own or in a set with few more of the same series.

It's obvious I'm far away from stamping perfection but that doesn't matter at all - I'm feeling extremely proud with this design. Can't wait to try some of the other new plates at the store.
