Graphic nail art with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Sunday evening in such a cloudy rainy day seams like the perfect time to share some nail art with you. I've posted this design few days ago at Instagram so it's definitely time to share some details about it.

Alice from Born Pretty Store has sent me a extremely cool stamping plate with geometric ornaments along with the products I've shown you lately - BP-L054. It has 20 different images in various sizes which allows you to create a lot of nail art designs. The plate is part of Born Pretty Store line of rectangular plates - click, click.

The geometric pattern over the semi-transparent black is just stunning. I've put few drops of black polish into a bottle of regular clear polish and here we go - nice glossy transparent jelly black. Three coats were enough to build the look I was looking for.

Just look at these amazing ornaments on the plate - I definitely need to get few more stamping polishes and to start practicing.

I'm really happy how the smooshy pattern is contrasting with the geometric one. Even the smudged lines of the images don't bother me at all. They really fits perfect to the final look. I'll definitely try some other designs with this plate really soon and share it with you. #WhenColoursCollide vol.14 - black, white and neon pink !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Friday and the working week is almost at its end. The last few days were fantastic - sunny, warm and full of laughter. I hope it's because of the upcoming spring.... Life just has to start being better. The latest group collage with all the gorgeous designs in black, white and neon pink for the last #whencolourscollide prompt has been posted on Monday. I'm a bit late with sharing my solo shot but better late than never  - 

What we have here - the cute little squares are Born Pretty Store water decals that were smudged a bit from the top coat but the effect is not that bad at all. Pinkie and ring finger are covered with diy decals I've made using the dry marble technique. The color combo is one of my most favorite and will definitely be here again soon.

#WhenColorsCollide next group collage is live on IG since Monday and it's definitely time for me to share with you my entry for the latest theme - black, white and yellow.

I was thinking about something completely different for this theme but things went into a very shaky direction.... Sometimes my hands just don't want to listen no matter what I think about it. It's called essential tremor and it's definitely not nail art best friend.

I've started with some chevrons and wanted to continue with some geometric pattern but it wasn't the right time and the right place. At all. There was nothing straight in the straight lines I've made and for the first time I just gave up. For the first time I let the tremor wins. One battle is lost but the war is not over.

Black&White Skulls !!!!

 Hello, my lovelies....

Halloween is almost here and all nails around are decorated with pumpkins, bats, ghosts, spiders and skulls of course. The palette is colorful and spooky - all shades of purple, orange, green and black with accents of white or else are definitely the perfect choice you can make. 

This time I've decided to give a chance to my daughter and let her choose the colors and the decoration for the claws. Her choice was a design with black, white, skulls and matte finish. So, here we are -  me and the claws dressed as how little Miss Precious has ordered.

Thunder red and some dribble !!!!

Red and black are always on the top of my all time favorite colors list. On the second place or maybe even close is the purple color in all its shades.

For this mani I've tried some different techniques - dry dribble marble, free hand framing, regular stamping and gradient stamping. These shades look simply perfect together and I'm really pleased with the end result. Hope you'll like it as much as I do.

Mandala stamping with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Born Pretty Store has released some awesome stamping plates lately and happy to be able to show you one of them - BP-X15. It's always a great pleasure to test new products and especially when they are stamping related. I'm in some kind of 'do-your-own-stamping-decals' period and this plate brings the best of my ideas on the surface.

The image is extremely clean with well defined edges and gives great variety of possibilities for creating your own decals. It's part of the BP-X series of rectangle plates by Born Pretty and can by ordered by its own or in a set with few more of the same series.

It's obvious I'm far away from stamping perfection but that doesn't matter at all - I'm feeling extremely proud with this design. Can't wait to try some of the other new plates at the store.

Chrome effect with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies...

The chrome effect madness was getting closer and closer lately and finally grabbed me into its hands. Or I grab it in mine? Doesn't matter. The main thing here is that the claws are dressed in chrome! Well, I add some red and black for more dramatic look or just because I've wanted so.

 I've found the perfect start up set at Born Pretty Store . It took about a month to arrive in Bulgaria but every single day waiting has worth it. The set includes - 

1g/box of silver Nail powder
1g/box of gold Nail powder
1 bottle of 5ml base coat gel
1 bottle of 5ml top coat gel
1pc of mini brush

 After watching tons of tutorials I thought it would be more interesting to show you a bit different decoration using the chrome pigments. I've tried to create a gradient using both the silver and the gold powder and looks like it ends up pretty well. The black frame was the final touch I've needed. 

 The mirror effect is not enough reflective but for a first time trying these powders I'm really impressed how shiny they are. Now when I can enjoy wearing these chrome jewels I think it's more than necessary to try both the holographic and chameleon ones.

Day or few ago I've noticed I haven't posted here my second entry for #whencolorscollide collage. The theme was red, black and purple and I just can't believe how the heck it's possible to forget something like this.... 

 The thumb is my favorite. It's been a while since I've been sorry for removing anything from the claws. Most of the times I'm getting bored after the first day of wearing a certain design. But this time was different. The claws were happy to wear this black-red-purple outfit almost four days!

Orly Cupcakes and Unicorns !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Let's get back in 2012 when Orly has released their Flash Glam Effects collection. Sad but true I wasn't able to put my hands on any of the gorgeous glitters and till now I really have forgotten about them. But. When your little/or not so/ daughter is in her unicorns-for-ever phase things are getting different. It's the moment for you to find all things Unicorn that can be found. My moment is now.

After searching for all sort of stuff related to those lovely colorful fantasy horses I've found Orly's Cupcakes and Unicorns! Set-Match! Not only the kid is delighted, the mom is satisfied too. And when there are unicorn and cosmetics in one sentence - well, the better the best.

I've found our Unicorn at one of my favorite online stores for all kinds of cosmetics parfimo.bg and few breaths after - here we go! Claws are dressed in fantastic shimmery dust full of gorgeous pink glass flakes and loaded with red bar glitter. I've thought it would be nice to show it both over white and black base colors in order to see the stunning duochrome effect better. Definitely it works better on black... The application is a bit tricky because of the bar glitter particles but it layers pretty well. The polish dries pretty matte but a nice thick layer of your favorite top coat will turn it into the perfect fairy tale jewel.

Now the claws are ready for chasing the rainbow.....
