Candy Sugar Powder by Born Pretty Store - vol.2 !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Green is one of my favorite colors along with violet and red but there are so many different shades of each color that it's hard to say which one of them is my most favorite. 
When I've received the sweet little boxes full of candy sugar powder from Born Pretty Store it was  obvious I should put it next to something fresh and.... mint.

As I've shared with you in my previous post about the candy sugar powder, this stuff is extremely easy to work with. You just have to put a coat of gel top and dip your nail into the powder before curing it. That's it. At least that's how I work with the powder.

This decoration is simple and still eye-catching because of the powdered nail. I really love how the different colors are mixed in a fantastic gritty universe on the nail plate.... It's time to try this powder in combination with somenrhinestones or studs to see it in a different light. But for now this simple decoration is simply gorgeous.... The weekend is right at the corner and I'm almost out of time for nail art. So I've decided to keep the weekly claw's outfit simple. On the other hand even if I've had the time to add some decoration I probably won't do it because these two polishes are so amazingly beautiful. Kimmy by Zoya and Kiko Sugar Matt 640 look like a perfect couple so I will definitely place them in my Awesome Couples Series

The frosty weather outside brings the best winter nail art out of most of us. All the designs inspired by the ice cold winter just makes me want to stay at home with the most fluffy cosy blanket over me....

Nude Glam Skittlette !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Monday morning always gives a good start of the week if you manage things right. How it works for me? A big, strong cup of black coffee, few moments to stare at the waking sky and a lazy trip through the web and here I am - pretty awake and ready to kick Monday's bud off.

Everything comes together when I add a blog post to the ritual.

This week is starting with a gentle ordinary skittlette for the claws. Nothing new or special this time but sometimes simple things can do miracles to your mood. So, as I am in a mood for light creamy shades and some bling of course why not to dress those ten guys in something too familiar to need a description?

One of the few really interesting collections I've seen in the past few years. I really don't know why but we've found each other just now. Probably because the variety of shades and finishes is too big.... pretty sure that's not the real reason.... or just because I've been a bit negligent about what's new. Today is March the 1st and here in Bulgaria we celebrate with giving martenici to our closest people to bring them health and luck. This is one of the oldest traditions in our country and is a sign for the upcoming spring. We are wearing our martenici since we see the first blooming tree or a stork in the sky. This is the sign that spring is here.

In order to celebrate this holiday I've tried to make a design inspired by the old traditions of making martenici from woolen yarn.

Chevron tips with Golden Rose Rich Color !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

I'm super excited lately because I've got a new job!!! Yeyyyy! That's probably one of the greatest things happened lately. I'm really extremely excited these days so if you got me missing here please forgive me. The all new things around me along with all the pressure from the last week at my old working place just squeeze me guts out. But I'm happy. Happy and relieved. Now let's see what we have here. 

As most of you, my lovelies, I'm also a big fan of Golden Rose Rich Color line. They have a great variety of color shades and most of them are truly well pigmented so to make an even and smooth coverage. Well, probably there are few sheer shades among all the opaque ones but that's not the point. I'm talking about all the perfect colors Golden Rose offers in their Rich Color line. 

Today's mani is a simple but interesting blurple ombre with black sand accent to make the blurples stand out better.

Dior, Catrice and W7 in triple creme-sand-suede perfection !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

Last week I’ve showed you my first mani for the #WNAC2015 – Splatter. If you haven’t noticed your Red Frog has made a little mistake then – there were no holographic polishes used for this splatter. Well, I have to admit my mind is chasing the winds most of the times and I have probably missed out this little detail about the challenge. Later I’ve updated the post with the splatter mani but it still ain’t got the so wanted holos. So, today I want to show you the polishes I’ve used for my splatter mani without the decoration itself.

W7 Silver suede – gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous silver suede. What more can I say? The photos are enough realistic so you can be able to see what I’m talking about. This little treasure has stunning pigmentation and it’s absolutely opaque in two thin coats even on my long nails. The drying time is as it has to be for that kind of polishes – 10 to 15 minutes and you ready to do the dishes. It’s quite the same about the durability – it’s a shame how such a beautiful finish is so impermanent.

Dior Perfecto – the second Dior polish in my stash. Perfecto is part of the Rock Your Nails Collection released back in 2011. It’s a stunning dark grey with blue undertone and subtle shimmer visible only in the bottle. The opacity is good but the durability is something I don’t want to talk about.

Catrice Crushed crystals 05 Stardust  - one really interesting polish with sand effect finish. It’s a mix of different tones of silver particles which are bar shaped !! Yes – little tiny bar glitters in almost clear base. It’s  a real must have for me and I’d buy another bottle if I can find it. For this mani I’ve used 3 thin coats but it’s possible to get  full opacity with two.

So, that’s all. I really like this grey-metalic palette. No matter the durability issues all three polishes are simply fantastic and I’ll definitely wear them often in the future.

Summer mix !!!!

Hello, my lovelies.....

After the long day inside the office I'm finally home and the glass of cold beer is next to me along with you. This is one of my favorite part of the day - me at home, the good old dog laying down next to me, the misting glass of beer and.... well, only my little princess is missing to complete the whole picture. But this time she's not around because she has a daddy to take her on a vacation in Greece. That's good. Me happy she could rest a bit from her always tired mommy. So that's me at the moment - relaxing as much as possible.

What I have for you today - a pretty ordinary summer mix with a little stamping, couple of different shades and glitter of course. Let's see.

 Nice. Simple. Girly. Just pretty. Sorry but nothing more to say about this mani. I'm not impressed. It's just a good daily summer mix.

#OMD3 - Day Twenty seven - Wings !!!!

Hello, my lovelies….

Sad but true I’m one day behind my schedule - #OMD3 Day 27 with its Wings theme was yesterday but your Red Frog didn’t make it…. My first tought was: Miss it, make the next mani! but those wing are under my skin for quite a while. I’ve wanted to make my wings a bit dark and grimly to accentuate on my base polish – the gorgeous Goth by Orly. Every time I use this baby I’m getting more and more in love with it. It would be perfect if only Goth was more durable. But this is not a problem because I change my nails’ clothes enough often.

Draft Series: Light ceramics !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

There was a time when no nude, beige or sand colors were able to catch my sight and intrigue my mind. I've thought they look boring or even vapid on my nails. What a huge mistake. Years after that I can say there's nothing/well, not exactly nothing but it's closer/ more inspiring for me than few bottles of earth colors to play with.

Today's mani was one of my first attempts with this color palette. If I have to re-do it at this moment I'll probably pick even more lighter colors to make the pattern more gentle and vibrant, to give an ancient look.Like some antique pottery but on my nails.... Strange ideas are running through my mind this morning.

Peachy Rabits with BornPrettyStore !!!!

Hello, my lovelies ....

I have a gorgeous stamping plate from Born Pretty Store to show you this morning - BP - 60. Well, you'll say I'm a bit late because Easter was few weeks ago but believe me - the patterns on this plate are suitable for more occasions than you think. I've used two of the designs for my mani upon the peachy-orange base.

I really like how the fresh peachy shades look next to my silver rabbits. As I've said before - I only need more practice in stamping and I'm sure I'll enjoy it more and the results will be better. Fingers crossed for the next attempt.
