Reindeers on the blue with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

My stamping battles are continuing and there's no power on this earth or outside it that will stop me from getting better. I won't make resolutions but come on! too much time passed by since my first stamping attempt and I still can't get even close to the result that would be accepted as "pretty good". Ugh. 

Today I have a fantastic winter themed stamping plate to show you. My friends from Born Pretty Store were kind again to send me few of their newest products so here we are - BP-L018 and the claws. 

 I've used three of the designs on the plates but to be honest it was quite hard to choose -

I just love this reindeer head and the russian ornament - the images are so crisp and transfer onto the nail extremely easy. At the Stamping Nail section at the store  you can see all the new arrivals and believe me you won't be able to resist! I want all of the new plates! I want them now!

Blushed Lavender Nails !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

It's Saturday morning and my coffee mug is almost empty. I'm not complaining at all. It's been a while since my last lazy Saturday morning at home and I'll definitely give my best to spend it in a full relax.

I've made this mani couple of weeks ago when the claws were still pretty short. The idea was a bit different from the end result but I'll re-do it some other day... probably. I've wanted a light tender design to match it with a particular outfit. Now looking at the shots below I can only be sorry I didn't took a single photo of both the mani and the outfit. Silly frog.

Sometimes it just doesn't want to end right... You've picked the perfect color palette, you've choose the perfect stamping plate, you've find the perfect brush for the details and even than the mix is not on the 'match' side. But what to say - we all have our ups and downs. The claws have new outfit at the moment so your Red Frog is happy.

I know these guys down bellow have kind of a strange look this time but that doesn't make me sad. I'm trying to find  the bright side of life in every single thing I make so hope you will enjoy today's mani.

Hello, my lovelies…

After all the rain these days I wasn’t really sure what I need most last night – take a hot shower and go to bed or sit in front of my computer and chat with you a bit. Guess what? I've need my few minutes here on the blog. It’s a good way to refresh my mind and gives a good start of the day. If you see the picture outside you won’t believe it’s still August. The temperature is not even close to what it should be at this time of the year. Well, it’s true that’s a nice break after the real summer heat from the last couple of weeks but…. But! Come on, it’s August! Where is my hot crazy summer? Bring it back. Now.

I’m really upset. My vacation starts on 24^th of August and I  desperately need sunny hot weather next week. Please.

Now some nail related stuff please. My grumbling won’t end soon.

Well, because my vacation is very soon I thought why not to show you something playful and summery. Sad but true I won’t be able to see the seashore this summer. If I’m lucky enough there’s a chance to go to a pool once or twice. Ugh. But that doesn’t mean I won’t make summery designs on my nails. Oh, no! Let’s see my Stars on the sand.

Today’s mani is from the kind I like most – red and golden with bold decorations and contrast finishes. It’s screaming: Me, Red Frog! Time to time I grab my most favorite polishes and make something to indulge myself only. Most of the times people look shocked seeing my nails – too long, too decorated, too sharp, too... I don’t care. My nails are part of my individuality. Your Red Frog has long sharp nails and long bright red hair. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s not mandatory to like me. It will be great at least to accept me.

Summer mix !!!!

Hello, my lovelies.....

After the long day inside the office I'm finally home and the glass of cold beer is next to me along with you. This is one of my favorite part of the day - me at home, the good old dog laying down next to me, the misting glass of beer and.... well, only my little princess is missing to complete the whole picture. But this time she's not around because she has a daddy to take her on a vacation in Greece. That's good. Me happy she could rest a bit from her always tired mommy. So that's me at the moment - relaxing as much as possible.

What I have for you today - a pretty ordinary summer mix with a little stamping, couple of different shades and glitter of course. Let's see.

Polish On with China Glaze and Perfect !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

The weekend is almost here. I just can't wait to wake up and see it's Saturday. I'm planning a big, fat all day long sleeping. Need it desperately. But untill than there is still a full work time Friday...

To the nails and stuff.

What we have today?

China Glaze I love your guts.

How not to love this polish even only for the name? Well, it's not only the name that grabbed me. When I saw the whole Apocalypse of color collection for the first time I just knew I should take at least half of it at home. The formula of this baby is one of the most awful ones but the result is so interesting. And no matter it's a pink shade I really like it. The little black particles floating in that pink and the strange semi matte-sand like finish make it so me. Well, as you can see I put a generous amount of top coat over it and the interesting finish is not visible. But I couldn't resist it.

About the decoration - some stamping, sone brush strokes and all is done. Nothing special but it's a fun way to spice up the mani.

Dress My Nails vol.1/2 !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

While ago I've decided to find the more feminine Red Frog who's usually hiding somewhere deep bellow the surfice. The first step has been made with one simple decision - more dresses in my wardrobe. The decision came as a result of an email from Dresslink store with an offer for cooperation.

Than came the idea about a brand new themed series - DressMyNails - nail art series inspired by fabric patterns, clothes' design and etc. The intro post is in a click away here.  And just because I'm a little shy kind of a frog I'll start the new series by showing my nails only. Just because I still haven't got the balls to show Red Frog in her full beauty here. Step by step, please. First some 'nails only' photos and after a while I'll make some shots with the new more feminine look - promise you, lovelies.

Back to the nails, please. 

 Here is a shot of my inspiration and if I may say - Hello, my new gorgeous dress!

First - the dress is not black and white! It's better - deep dark shades of blue on cotton like white colored stretch fabric. 

Second - for the mani I've add a touch of pearl shine over my white with Golden rose Rich color 101 

Third -  a double stamping with two holographic polishes over the pearly white base - A-England Tristam and Depend Holographic 2032. I've made a double stamping because I wanted to recreate the subtle bleached effect of the fabric's pattern.

I just can't wait to put this beauty on me and go out for a drink with some friends or who knows - maybe on a date? For now only my little princess, my oldy doggy and my petite mouse have got the pleasure to see me dressed it that Dress. My New Dress. Some of them like it - some didn't. It's day 4 from the #OMD3 Challenge and we have black and gold to inspire us.

Few days ago I've told you about my awful days from the last week. The worst of all was my broken nail and this mani is the first with two buddies trimmed down. I just haven't got the balls to cut all my nails down. So from now on you'll see some strange shaped nails here - some long, some short but still your Red Frog's nails for sure.

#OMD3 - Day Three - Silver nails !!!!

Hello, my lovelies…

  It’s day 3 from the amazing #OMD3 Challenge and the theme is Silver nails. I think that’s the right time to say how much I love my A-England Excalibur. Again. And again. And again. I can keep on saying it forever – this silver gorgeousness is magnificent! It’s the right choice if you want to stamp, play with some water, alcohol or just paint your nails. Excalibur has great pigmentation, superb drying time and out of this world fantastic metallic finish.

  It won’t be fair if I don’t tell few words about Excalibur’s mate - Femme Fatale Fatal Attraction. I’ve got the chance to win this piece of art as part of a giveaway hosted by Meghan aka Will Paint Nails For Food while ago. You can take a look at her awesome blog here.
