Happy Tuesday!

This week starts fast and almost furious - tons of interesting stuff is waiting to be done at work for quite a short time but that just gives me more inspiration to do things right. Probably that's the reason for the rise of my nail art ideas.... guess so..

Well, work won't go away before I finish it all so let's take few moments for the claws - 

- Color palette - inspired by a friend's favorite shades

- Finishes - I love mix'n'match .... 

- Design - trying to upgrade my gradient skills along with the stamping 

- Result - miles away from the nail art heaven but looks nice for Tuesday....

Mixed nail decoration or Mix not Match !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

Sometimes it just doesn't want to end right... You've picked the perfect color palette, you've choose the perfect stamping plate, you've find the perfect brush for the details and even than the mix is not on the 'match' side. But what to say - we all have our ups and downs. The claws have new outfit at the moment so your Red Frog is happy.

I know these guys down bellow have kind of a strange look this time but that doesn't make me sad. I'm trying to find  the bright side of life in every single thing I make so hope you will enjoy today's mani.

Thorns and roses on Flormar Full Color Grass Juice !!!!

  Hello, my lovelies....

  While ago I've made my first attempt in DIY stamped decals - the post with them is here. Because of the mistake I've made with that first decal it was a matter of time for me to make a new one. What was my mistake? I've placed the decal in the wrong direction - the back side was the visible one - and of course I've noticed that after putting all the generous coats of Seche Vite to create a smooth surface. No matter all the mani was a nice one so nothing to be sorry for. This time I've decided to make my roses yellow - my favorite among all roses types. Again I've used my BP-L020 for the decal. 

  The base color is from the new Flormar polish line - Full Color FC22 Grass Juice - one of the most interesting lime/or not so lime/ greens in my stash. It's a really nice polish to work with - the creme finish is smooth and even after two coats, the drying time is quite satisfying and the color shade is so beautiful. 

  I've bought this buddy along with few other polishes couple of weeks ago and now I'm sure I'll get some more colors of the Full Color line. One of the other bottles I'd took home with Grass Juice is a strange topper by Perfect brand that looks really interesting in the bottle. I've used it here to complement my thorns. I can only say - there's no such torn in my as$ like this one here. This polish brings the worst out of me with its awful application. But, thanks G there is a But here, but the final result is good.

Dress My Nails vol.1/2 !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....

While ago I've decided to find the more feminine Red Frog who's usually hiding somewhere deep bellow the surfice. The first step has been made with one simple decision - more dresses in my wardrobe. The decision came as a result of an email from Dresslink store with an offer for cooperation.

Than came the idea about a brand new themed series - DressMyNails - nail art series inspired by fabric patterns, clothes' design and etc. The intro post is in a click away here.  And just because I'm a little shy kind of a frog I'll start the new series by showing my nails only. Just because I still haven't got the balls to show Red Frog in her full beauty here. Step by step, please. First some 'nails only' photos and after a while I'll make some shots with the new more feminine look - promise you, lovelies.

Back to the nails, please. 

 Here is a shot of my inspiration and if I may say - Hello, my new gorgeous dress!

First - the dress is not black and white! It's better - deep dark shades of blue on cotton like white colored stretch fabric. 

Second - for the mani I've add a touch of pearl shine over my white with Golden rose Rich color 101 

Third -  a double stamping with two holographic polishes over the pearly white base - A-England Tristam and Depend Holographic 2032. I've made a double stamping because I wanted to recreate the subtle bleached effect of the fabric's pattern.

I just can't wait to put this beauty on me and go out for a drink with some friends or who knows - maybe on a date? For now only my little princess, my oldy doggy and my petite mouse have got the pleasure to see me dressed it that Dress. My New Dress. Some of them like it - some didn't. I'll let it to you to figure out who did.

Lace the Nails with Born Pretty Store !!!!

Few days ago I’ve show you one of the latest Born Pretty Store stamping plates – BP – as part of one of my #NAILlinkup manis - Lavander.

Now it’s the time to shout out – this plate is Gorgeous! Yeah, I know there are tons of amazing stamping plates around us but let me be a bit excited for a moment.

 The patterns are really well selected – a variety of  feminine laces, simple but very classy stripes and a few of accent images. The only thing that brings me down is the images are not big enough for nails as long as mine. It’s not really a big deal but…. On the other hand there are lots of plates on the store which can be easily used on long nails.

Lavander for #NAILlinkup !!!!

Hello, my lovelies....
It's time for the last May theme for #NAILlinkup - Lavander.

It was a great pleasure to create this mani. First a good old friend of mine made me a very special gift - Zoya Leslie. This gorgeous light lavander shade came right on time to made my Lavander mani so complete. Than Born Pretty Store's plate BP-L020 just called my name with the magnificient roses pattern. And at the end - I have finally made a good stamping. 
So how not to be happy with the end result?
